Community benefit tokens for Youth-Led Community Regenration in Syria
This initiative pilots the use of social/community tokens as a non-monetary currency to incentivize youth (as well as the wider community and society in or outside of Syria) to engage in community regeneration and expanding socio-economic opportunities for young people.
Social/community tokens will be earned by youth for contributing with their effort, time, knowledge and enthusiasm to missions and initiatives. These tokens can be exchanged for access learning and vocational training, internship in the private sector, etc., reinforcing and recognizing shared values of volunteerism, time investment, and knowledge sharing.
The idea is to create a system where youth contributions in time, skills, and community support are rewarded, fostering a new value system that highlights civic responsibility, local pride, and mutual aid, while at the same time expanding socio-economic opportunities.
