This project, framed within the Gipuzkoa Deep Demo initiative, seeks to connect Gipuzkoa's knowledge system, and to integrate territorial governance and the local knowledge network to tackle complex challenges through a systemic and collaborative approach. The two key areas are the missions of Gipuzkoa Deep Demo: New Mobility and Sustainable Food. Through projects such as Donostia Talks and Herrigintza Eskola, the aim is to strengthen the associative fabric, promote mutual learning and boost the territory's capacity to respond to social, economic and environmental transitions, positioning the UPV/EHU as a laboratory for advanced experimentation.

Kutxa Fundazioa, in its capacity as a driving force and facilitator of transformative solutions, is launching the third call for applications for this funding, the aim of which is to promote social innovation in the face of eco-social challenges. In this third edition, the foundation will promote solutions to contribute to the reduction of social inequalities and the improvement of social and territorial cohesion in Gipuzkoa, developed by alliances between entities that implement transformative projects in line with the challenges of the 2030 agenda: in the context of new mobility, recovering biodiversity, promoting sustainable consumption and habits and reducing inequalities. This is a programme of aid that forms part of the new ‘Strategic Plan of Kutxa Fundazioa’, the purpose of which focuses on the need to promote and support responses to contribute to a more cultured, fair and equitable Gipuzkoa through the promotion of critical capacity and collective commitment.
