A competition for the ten most outstanding young people around the world, is one of the official programs of the Junior Chamber International (JCI) since 1983. It was launched in Syria in 2008, where the JCI Syria has honored many active Syrian youth on both national and international levels. Through this program, JCI aims to highlight and honor active and influential young people in their communities and around the world by introducing them and showcasing their achievements. As a youth organization, JCI seeks to encourage these young individuals to achieve more and to support them in becoming leaders who inspire positive change in their communities.
